Aerin Lip Conditioner

Aerin Rose Lip ConditionerI suffer from extremely dry chapped lips. Doesn’t matter if it’s the coldest of the winter season, or a smoking hot summer day… if I haven’t coated my lips in lip conditioner, it’s the worst feeling in the world. I think I’m more self conscious about my lips then food being stuck in my teeth.

It just so happened that I had a little impromptu Sunday Funday with my mom at Neiman Marcus last weekend. I was overdue to pick up my sweet makeup tote stashed with spring beauty and fragrance samples (but really this was just the excuse so I could squeeze in some therapeutic beauty counter shopping before the start of another extremely long work week). I somehow coaxed my mom to stop by the Estee Lauder counter for a complimentary mini makeover.

In case you were wondering, Estee Lauder specialist Mandy completely transformed my mom’s look in a matter of minutes (foundation that actually matched her complexion, under eye concealer and a vibrant pink lip). She was in such a good mood (proof that makeup really does make you look and feel good), that she offered to treat me to a beauty product (just another reason why I love my mom). With a chapped lip on my mind, I immediately picked up the Aerin Lip Conditioner.

In the last 48 hours that I’ve owned this lip conditioner, I think I’ve applied it six times. Which in my book is a great thing! My lips feel uber soft (my boyfriend would agree) and while I wouldn’t protest to applying all day, every day if I could; it’s the fact that it has super long-wear protection. It has a sweet smelling rosy scent and has just the slightest bit of shimmer to give your lips a glossy finish.

We ended going out to dinner that night (I think my mom wanted to show off her pretty look). You know where we ended up going? La Madeleine (I know, we ball so hard).
