Juicing for Smooth Hair & Supple Skin

You may remember a while back I shared with you a beauty juice recipe for hair, skin and nails. What I really love most about juicing is that you can customize your fruits and veggies for the ultimate beauty drink that best benefits you. I’m back again with another juicing recipe— specifically for smooth tresses and supple skin.

Ingredients:

A handful of spring mix lettuce
A handful of white grapes
1 apple quartered
1 banana

This is juice recipe that I kind of just threw together on the fly.White grapes are loaded with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (think protection against sunburns, anti-aging benefits and smooth skin). Grapes encourage hair growth through an increase in blood circulation in the scalp, and a regular application of grapeseed oil can help combat dandruff. Banana is a natural moisturizer for your skin and tresses. The potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates and vitamins all aid in softening and protecting your hair’s natural elasticity (which prevent split ends and breakage).
