If you’re a Nordstrom credit card holder then you currently have early access to shop the biggest sale of the year. Don’t take this responsibility lightly. It’s an opportunity to stock up on all new items for the upcoming fall season. I rounded up my favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access picks, plus a short list of the things I like to buy during the sale every year.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I’m not as impressed with the selection of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items this year (compared to last year). But that doesn’t meant I don’t want to shop the sale. There are definitely a few items on my wish list across a variety of categories.
Denim
I never invested in denim until I bought my first pair of PAIGE and AG Jeans during last year’s sale. I’m really impressed with the quality of both brands and how they hold their shape after going through the wash. I don’t know if its my age or what but I do prefer high waist denim and I will definitely be stocking up on a pair this time around.
Boots and Booties
Whether it’s ankle boots, tall boots or rain boots, I always make sure to check out the selection because I feel like I’m always on the hunt for boots. Sam Edelman, Marc Fisher, and Hunter are my favorite “high end” brands but BP. Shoes (Nordstrom’s in-house brand) are very affordable if you want to spend less than $100. Click here to shop shoes.
Athleisure and Intimates
That may be a weird category combo but basically, I will never wear a Victoria’s Secret bra ever again. Last year I decided to purchase a Natori bra and my entire world changed. No creases from the underwire, super comfortable to wear all day and perfect to wear underneath basically everything. And now that I have a consistent workout routine I’m going to reward myself by scooping up some new workout clothes.
Sweaters, Cardigans & Tees
I usually avoid buying trendy clothes during the sale (as tempting as it may be) and stock up on comfortable tees, cozy cardigans and timeless sweaters. BP., Caslon, Halogen, Lush, and Madewell are my go-to brands for these types of pieces. And typically, they are all under $100.
Beauty and Hair Tools
In the beauty category, I like to restock on old favorites and splurge on gift sets (for myself and for the holiday gift giving season). I’m also planning to buy some Charlotte Tilbury makeup, I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a while. Stay tuned for another post in which I’ll share my favorite Nordstrom beauty buys under $100.
Early access ends July 19 and then the sale is open to the public July 20th, so now is the best time to shop the sale. Happy shopping!
